Candlelight Tours at the Villa Zorayda Museum

Featuring the Grand Lighting of the Christmas Tree

Join us this Holiday Season for the Villa Zorayda Museum’s 14th Annual “Candlelight Tour” of the Museum. These special tours are offered on select evenings during St. Augustine’s “Nights of Lights” Celebration and include a Grand Lighting of the Christmas Tree. 

The Villa is beautifully decorated for the Holidays with decorations throughout the Museum. A spectacular Christmas Tree, decorated in the colors of the Zorayda – red and gold – is located center stage in the “Court of Lions”. Victorian and traditional decorations are found in every room of the Museum for visitors to enjoy. Over 100 candles are aglow throughout the Museum as you take a state of the art audio guided tour of this historic former home. Tour Information

Tours begin at 5:30pm and 7:00pm on select evenings during St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights. 

Enjoy the audio guided tour of the Museum and learn about the buildings impressive 140 years of history and its beautiful art and antique collection. At the appropriate time, guests will begin taking their places around the upper and lower balconies of the Museum in preparation for the big event. Delight in the beauty of Christmas as the Museum goes dark and the dramatic Lighting of the Christmas Tree begins with each floor in the Museum gradually coming back to light. Once finished, enjoy a complementary beverage and cookie to complete your Candlelight Tour.

Please note: This tour involves standing and walking for the duration of the tour (60 minutes). Due to the historic architecture of the building, there is no elevator inside.

Tickets

Adult admission is $24.99. Children ages 6-12 are $12.99. All prices subject to 6.5% sales tax. This tour is not recommended for children ages 5 and under. Audio guide included and is available in English, Spanish and French. A limited number of guests will be allowed for each tour. We strongly recommend pre-purchasing tickets.
