Join us this Holiday Season for the Villa Zorayda Museum’s annual Candlelight Tours.

These special event tours are offered on select evenings during St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights

The Villa is beautifully decorated for the Holidays with Victorian and traditional decorations throughout the Museum for guests to enjoy, and a spectacular Christmas Tree is located center stage in the “Court of Lions”

Over 100 candles are aglow throughout the Museum as you take an audio guided tour of this historic former home and learn about its fascinating 140 years of history as well as its beautiful art and antique collection

At the appropriate time, guests will begin taking their places around the upper and lower balconies in preparation for the big event. Delight in the beauty of Christmas as the Museum goes dark and the Lighting of the Christmas Tree begins with each floor in the Museum gradually coming back to light

Once finished, treat yourself to a complimentary beverage and cookie to complete your Candlelight Tour.

• Where can I purchase tickets?
  • Tickets for the Villa Zorayda Museum’s Candlelight Tours and Holiday Evenings are only available on our website, http://www.villazorayda.com, or in person at the Museum. All tickets are subject to availability.

• Do you offer discounts on Candlelight Tours?
  • Discounts and promotions are not applicable for special events.

• Where should I park for the Candlelight Tour?
  • The museum is unable to offer complimentary parking for specialty tours. Daily paid parking is available on a first come first serve basis. Please visit parking information for more information about parking at the Villa Zorayda Museum. During Nights of Lights, we recommend arriving downtown St. Augustine early to avoid heavy traffic.

• What is the tour length of a Candlelight Tour?
  • Our Candlelight Tours last approximately 60 minutes. Try not to leave early or you will miss the lighting of the Christmas tree as well as beverages and cookies.

• Is the Candlelight Tour recommended for children?
  • Families with children are always welcome at our museum. To help protect our historic collections, we kindly ask that children remain with their accompanying adults at all times. While our exhibits are not hands-on, young visitors often enjoy exploring and discovering stories from the past alongside their families. Due to the tour length being 60 minutes, we do not recommend this tour for children ages 5 and under. For a Holiday Tour that will allow you to go more at your own pace, consider our Holiday Evening Tours.

• Can I book a private group tour?
  • Private Candlelight Tours can be booked in advance. The minimum guest count is 35 people for private Candlelight Tours. Please contact the museum at info@villazorayda.com for booking and more information.

• What is your refund policy?
  • Please know that this is a limited ticket event, therefore, all tickets are nonrefundable. We appreciate your understanding.

• Do you have an elevator?
  • Due to the historic architecture of the building, there is no elevator inside. The tour covers 2 levels with one stairway to the second floor.
